Firstly we need to discover if a toilet has formerly been installed. If there had formerly been a toilet installed on the flange, there would be the remnants of an old wax bowl ring, which must be worn off. Now you can move the old toilet out of the way and embark on the method of installing a new toilet.
I carefully set the bowl on the flange, and then pushed down gently. For the installation I need two modifiable wrenches, ratchet wrench, sockets, screwdriver, hacksaw, tubing and a cutter. These bolts/nuts may be enclosed with small caps, just eliminate the caps first. Undo any nut or bolt which is visible connecting the toilet to the back wall. The next step can be completed by two people or just one person. There will be a small amount of water left in the tank and in the bowl which needs to be removed. Simply using a jug or cup, convey the water into a nearby sink or bucket. Once complete your toilet is ready to be removed and the new toilet installed.
